Horse Racing Rules

  1. Horse racing bets made within the sportsbook section of the site (Under the “Sportsbook” navigation tab) are fixed odds bets.
  2. Horse racing bets made within the racebook section of the site (Under the “Racing” tab) are settled based on the pari-mutuel (tote) odds.
    1. The racebook section offers betting the day before and the day of the race, however, all bets within the racebook are settled as if they were placed on the day of the race.
    2. If you wager on a horse that is coupled with one or more horses, your wagers include all horses under the said number. If one of your entries is scratched but another horse runs, your wager has action.
  3. All horse racing futures have action up until the final declaration (post-draw) for the race.
    1. If a horse does not run in the race, all wagers placed on that horse will be graded as a loss.
    2. All pending Horse Racing fixed odds future wagers placed after the post positions are drawn, in the Sportsbook section, have action only if the race is run on the originally scheduled day. If a race is postponed to the following day or any day thereafter, all wagers will be no action, and funds returned to player accounts. Horse racing futures placed before the post position continue to have action until the race is run. In the event the race is canceled, horse racing futures placed before the post position draw will be no action and funds returned to player accounts.
  4. For wagers placed after the post declaration, scratched horses will be graded as “No Action”.

    2. For Daily Doubles, Pick 3, Pick 4, and Pick 6’s, if a horse is scratched before any leg a consolation prize will be paid on that combo, as specified by the track. If the track does not pay a consolation, wagers with these combinations will be refunded accordingly.
